Bridging Gaps in Kidney Care
Rural Kidney Association started when Nicki, inspired by her own experience with dialysis, wanted to make home dialysis equipment more accessible. What started by giving supplies to her local hospital has now expanded across NSW.
Sarah Watson helped us create a short film about the journeys of five patients with CKD from Armidale NSW. It tells of their hopes, fears and diagnosis, but more than that, their desire to be included in research so they can help others. Made in collaboration with Nicki Scholes-Robertson and the Centre for Kidney Research.
